At camp one we explore a WW II military site and learn how to make a comfortable camp. Day 3 is another early day as we make a 2 mile crossing to camp site 2 at Thumbs Cove. We spend two nights at camp 2 participating in hikes to glaciers and paddling the coastline looking at sea birds and marine animals. On day 5 we paddle back to our original launch and return to Anchorage. All kayaking equipment and transportation from Anchorage and the valley is included in your tuition.
