This is a big lake kayak camping trip. We
will paddle across the lake to the
cottonwood trail. The plan is to follow the
glacier valley up to the summit of
Cottonwood peak. This will be a big
adventure. We have to cross the lake which
means have a “beam” exposure to the wind.
Because this lake can have series winds,
participants should plan on either a late
return to Anchorage on Sunday, like mid
night, or even having to delay our return to
Monday. |
