We spend two days paddling on Hidden Lake
and one paddling on Skilak Lake. On Saturday
we paddle the North shore, on Sunday the
South Shore. Monday we will break camp and
drive a few miles over to Skilak lake.
Skilak is known for its winds, so this first
trip will be more conservative, we will stay
near the west shore. In August we will
return to Skilak for two different kayak
camping trips. We spend Saturday and Sunday
night at Hidden lake camp ground. Plan on
car camping in a national forest service
camp ground.
