  Great easy way whitewater the river with very forgiving kayaks. IK’s are very stable, hard to flip one. We start at the bridge under the Glenn Hwy to learn ferry and eddy skills. After lunch we move to the Matanuska river and run a class II section from Sutton to Palmer. On this run students learn how to read the river, run a class II rapid, and continue to practice ferry and eddy skills in faster current.
